Sarah and Terry were originally going to get married in October of this year, that was until Sarah was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of cancer, a few weeks ago. Within a matter of a days, they were making plans to move up the wedding.
After I heard that they were going to move the wedding to August, I started to think about a phrase that is often incorporated into wedding vows; "through sickness and in health". Before Sarah and Terry stood in front of their friends and family, they made a commitment to each other to be there through sickness and in health. That speaks volumes about their relationship and the strength of their love.
Sarah and Terry met their parents and some friends at the Anoka County Government Center. Everyone arrived early and anxiously waited for the Judge to come.
The ceremony was very surreal. The Judge took us to a little park in the Government Center that was very cozy. You could feel the emotions of the day illuminating off of the walls.
Afterwards, we found a little park so that Sarah and Terry could enjoy the moment with each other.
Sarah and Terry-thank you for allowing me to witness your wedding. The two of you are an inspiration to me.

Yeah! It is great to know that your life partner is there for you. Before or after the vows.
