Can I tell you how much I love the digital world? I use to work a lot with film so I remember the days of shooting and seeing an image then thinking, "I wish that the color was more vibrant". That would send me down a path of finding a different type of film to use.
Let me show you why I love digital imagining so much. Here is a picture that is straight out of the camera. It doesn't look bad or anything, but look at the 3 images that follow it and you will see what I mean.
This one has a little color boost and a soft vignette around it.
I added a little of this and a little of that to create a soft vibrant color with a dramatic vignette around it.
We cannot forget the dramatic black and white look that is classic.
Now a days, I process all of the images before showing them to a client. I feel that it helps me deliver the images that I imagine in my head and only makes the final product that more beautiful.

Easter Traditions
My family has many traditions that surround the holidays and Easter is no exception. On Saturday night the boys and I dyed Easter eggs. I accidentally filled the cups up with to much water so they kept overflowing every time an egg was placed into them. The boys thought it was kind of funny.
On Easter we went to my Grandma Millie's house for lunch, the traditional envelope hunt and the basket search for the little kids. Besides seeing family; my favorite thing about the day is taking all of the little kids to the walking bridge that is just 1/2 block away from my Grandma's house. We have been doing this annual walk for decades now and it never gets old. We march up to the center of the walking bridge and wave to all of the cars. Some years we stay there for almost an hour.
I'll just say that dresses and heels don't really mix well with snow. We only stayed out there for maybe 10 minutes this year.

Lil' ol' me
Over the last 12 years I have probably taken around 1 million pictures of other people, places and things; but I probably only have maybe 100 or so pictures of me. Most of those were taken by my mom during the holidays.
I recently had the chance to jump into a photobooth and strike a few poses. Well 3 poses and 1 uh oh, "I am not ready for the picture"... moment. I forgot how much fun it is to strike a pose and be the superstar for a moment. It was a blast!!!!
If you have ever talked with me, you know that I am an energetic, life loving, happy-go-lucky person that is thrilled to talk to people. I am the girl that strikes up a conversation with you at Target while I am trying to pick out a card or holds the door open for you just because I can.
It is the little things in life that makes me happy. I love to hear little kids giggle uncontrollably. I love to watch a couple stare into each others eyes and see the future that is ahead of them. And, I like to have fun. I think that is why I liked the photobooth so much.

Twin Cities Wedding Fair
Today I met hundreds of great people at the Twin Cities Wedding Fair. It was my first time being an exhibitor and boy did I have fun. It was great talking to everyone about their relationships, wedding plans and of course, photography.
I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by the booth. And another big THANK YOU to my friends and family that helped me get ready for the Wedding Fair. You guys are the best!!
